Detailed description of project Back
The Ivory Coast Youth Sounding Board or EU Youth Committee was launched on May 16, 2024, on Europe Day.
The Youth Sounding Board is conceived as an innovative platform that offers young people a valuable to make their voices heard and influence the decisions that affect them.
The overall aim of this project is to improve the integration of youth into the strategic partnership between the European Union and the Ivory Coast and to support the operationalization of the Youth Sounding Board in the country.
Thanks to technical assistance, young people will be able to carry out their mandate, and in particular their action plan, and the European Union Delegation will be able to take greater account of the youth dimension in its policies and programs. More specifically, the expected results are as follows:
1) The current Youth Sounding Board’s mandate and action plan have been successfully implemented and the YSB is recognized as a credible interlocutor.
2) The skills of YSB members have been enhanced.
3) The transition to the new cohort has been ensured.
