Technical Assistance to the Primary Education Support Programme (PAEP)

The mission is to provide bridging assistance between the first phase of the Primary Education Support Programme (9^th EDF) and the follow-up programme under the 10^th EDF.

The overall objective of the TA is to support the decentralisation of policies for the primary education sector in provinces benefitting from PAEP.

Expected results include:

• Capacities reinforced related to the planning, implementation , coordination and monitoring of the primary education system;
• Quality and efficiency of primary education improved;
• Equitable access to basic education increased.

Type of services provided

PROMAN provides the services of three education experts, each responsible for a specific geographical area:

• Team leader, based in Lubango and covering the provinces of Cunene, Huíla andNamibe;
• Education specialist, based in Benguela and covering the provinces of Benguela and Cuanza Sul;
• Education specialist, based in Huambo and covering the provinces of Bié and Huambo.

PROMAN HQ provides overall backstopping and quality control.
