Technical Assistance to the NAO Support Unit (CAONF II)

The project objective is to continue to strengthen capacities of the public service so as to improve the management of EC assistance within the overall framework of external aid received by the country, and to improve the technical coordination with concerned line ministries.

• Support to the NAO with the implementation of EDF within the framework of the Cotonou Agreement;
• Support to all aspects linked to the management control so as to develop an overall quality framework;
• Support to the development and implementation of standard management tools;
• Definition of the modalities and means to ensure increased participation of non state actors;
• Capacity building and training;
• Ad-hoc support to EDF project and programmes.

The consortium provides the services of a total of 6 long term experts:

• Team leader (international);
• Finance and admin. expert (international);
• Civil/rural engineer (international);
• Economics and structural adjustment (local);
• Finance and admin. expert (local);
• Civil/rural engineer – public works (local).
