Detailed description of project Back

The specific objective of this emergency assistance project is to:

• Contribute to the implementation of local support mechanisms for poor households affected by the crisis through the provision of food aid;
• Supporting recovery and securing livelihoods through subsidies to household income generating activities;
• Support local dynamics to improve the availability and accessibility of basic quality social services (education and health) for vulnerable households.

Type of services provided

The project is implemented by a team of 3 experts:

• One coordinator (based in Bamako);
• One local manager (based in Gao);
• One technician.

The team oversees overall planning, contracting and supervision of the programme, with support of PROMAN HQ.
