PROMAN is supporting the Ministry of Education in Tunisia to finalize the Education Sector Plan (ESP) 2025-2035, aligned with international commitments (SDG 4, Agenda 2063) and national priorities. The action includes:

  • Finalization of the PSE: Integration of stakeholder feedback, validation, and development of a three-year action plan (2025-2027) detailing priorities, responsibilities and associated budgets.
  • Revision of a study on school violence: Improved analysis and format to integrate findings into the PES.
  • Translation and dissemination: Translation of the PES into Arabic for wide dissemination.
  • Ongoing collaboration: Organization of workshops and meetings with the Ministry and other stakeholders to ensure integration of multi-sectoral perspectives. With the opening of new centers in several regions and the creation of partnerships to reinforce impact and sustainability.

The action aims to provide a strategic and operational framework for strengthening the Tunisian education system, while integrating participative, ethical approaches adapted to local needs.

Type of services provided

Strategic support:

  • Finalization of the Education Sector Plan (ESP) 2025-2035, incorporating stakeholder feedback and ensuring its consistency with international commitments (SDGs, Agenda 2063).
  • Development of a three-year action plan (2025-2027) aligned with the medium-term expenditure framework.

Analysis and review:

  • Revision and improvement of the study on school violence, including in-depth exploitation of survey data and redesign of the format for better presentation of results.

Document production and translation:

  • Preparation of the finalized PSE in French and Arabic for national and international distribution.

Coordination and participation:

  • Organization and facilitation of meetings and workshops with the Ministry, partners and local stakeholders to validate and monitor work.

Budgetary and operational monitoring:

  • Budgeting of actions planned in the PES and integration into the national expenditure framework to ensure financial feasibility.

Communication and collaboration:

  • Maintain ongoing interaction with stakeholders to ensure buy-in, coherence and sustainability of proposed actions.
