Detailed description of project Back

The project aims to introduce and deploy the innovative UPSHIFT and Adolescent Kit programs in youth centers across Tunisia. These programs primarily aim to develop young people’s life skills, employability, and community engagement. This initiative aligns with UNICEF’s 2020-2025 Country Programme strategy, which seeks to reduce inequalities and improve the quality of extracurricular educational services.

The specific objectives include:

  • Training 25 youth center facilitators in the UPSHIFT methodology to lead workshops.
  • Training 50 inspectors from the Ministry of Youth and Sports to supervise facilitators.
  • Developing a core group of 75 trainers to ensure the program’s sustainability.
  • Training 100 facilitators in supporting UPSHIFT projects and utilizing the Adolescent Kit.

Key tasks carried out as part of the project:

  1. Designing educational materials and training plans tailored to each profile (facilitators, inspectors, trainers).
  2. Conducting 15 interactive training sessions incorporating practical workshops, role-playing, and collaborative exercises.
  3. Providing post-training support to facilitators and inspectors for implementing the methodologies taught.
