Support for the development of a Early Childhood Development Programme

The objective of this mission is to develop an age-differentiated early childhood development program (18 to 36 months for awakening and stimulation and then 3 to 5 years for pre-apprenticeships) that targets children, children parents, families, communities and associations involved; and to reinforce the capacities of supervisors (educators, childminders and nursery nurses) on awakening, stimulation and pre-apprenticeship activities.

Type of services provided

• Preparation of a methodological note including the methodology, the work plan and the chronogram;
• Elaboration of a program with chapters specific to different age categories;
• Development of a skills framework for staff in charge of setting up nurseries, day-care centers and early learning centers;
• Elaboration of an integrated manual for initial and in-service training.
