Scoping mission for continuation of EU’s support to the TVET sector in Pakistan

Detailed description of project Back

Education, including human resource development, is one the focal areas for EU’s development cooperation with Pakistan.

The purpose of this contract is to support the EU Delegation in the identification and formulation phase of planning for the continuation of its support to the TVET sector in Pakistan.

The expected results include:

Identification phase

• Assist in the development and finalisation of documents for the identification phase;
• To come up with a clearer picture of possible future interventions in the TVET sector. The identification phase should also look at possible implementation mechanisms (budget sector support, project approach, grants agreements, etc.). This phase is also expected to prepare for further work during formulation phase.

Formulation phase

• Assist in the development and finalisation of documents for the formulation phase;
• To come up with appropriate intervention and the partner including the target group, mode of implementation, monitoring and evaluation framework, activity wise budget (both over heads and programme activities) and log frame/result matrix.

• TVET Expert.
