Detailed description of project Back
The success and impact of the support project to the Rundu Vocational training Centre (RVTC), lead to the formulation of a similar support project to the Zambezi Vocational Training Centre (ZVTC). Due to institutional changes in the vocational education sector, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg (MFA) decided to postpone the implementation of the project in order to guarantee its perfect coherence with new government policies and priorities. In early 2004, the proposal of the Ministry of Higher Education, Training and Employment Creation (MHETEC) to establish a Namibia Training Authority (NTA) was approved and this new institution will be progressively responsible for the management and implementation of all initiatives in the sector. The MFA has now asked to adapt the first proposal to the changed circumstances and more specifically to:
