Detailed description of project Back
The European Union has been supporting the education sector in Cambodia since 2003. The fifth budget support programme, the EU-Cambodia Education Sector Reform Partnership 2018-2021 (ESRP) was signed and started implementation in August 2018.
Budget support is coupled with complimentary support, currently provided through a multi-donor trust fund, the Education Capacity Development Partnership Fund (CDPF) managed by UNICEF, and co-financed with UNICEF, GPE, USAID and Sweden.
The ESRP 2018-21 Performance Assessment Framework (PAF) currently includes 10 indicators relevant to basic education and cutting across the major reforms under implementation by the MoEYS.
