Gender Audit to EU bilateral projects/programmes

The global objective is (i) to determine the contribution of EU ongoing bilateral projects and programmes so far to the elimination of all forms of gender discrimination and the empowerment of women’s and girls’ in all spheres of live and (ii) to contribute to enhanced gender inclusion in EU ongoing bilateral cooperation projects/programmes.

The specific objective is to conduct a Gender Audit of EU bilateral cooperation in Cambodia.

The gender audit should:

• Measure how gender mainstreaming has been implemented in ongoing EU bilateral projects and programmes;
• Identify good practices and provide specific recommendations (possibly including gender indicators) for each project as appropriate to improve gender equality and inclusion;
• Provide analysis and recommendations that will inform and trigger debate around gender mainstreaming in EU cooperation.

Type of services provided

The experts are expected to apply an analytical approach to see the current status of the gender mainstreaming of the ongoing projects/programmes and provide practical and feasible suggestions to improve gender mainstreaming in all projects/programmes and improvement of logical frame work for measurable gender sensitive indicators and sex disaggregated indicators.

The programme is carried out by a team of two experts:

• Gender specialist, Team leader (30 m/d);
• Gender Specialist (20 m/d).
