Detailed description of project Back
The proposed Project falls under the Indicative Programme for Cooperation (PIC/ICP) signed on 22 September 2002 between the governments of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
On 1 March 2004, the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) submitted a Project request prepared by the Cao Bang Province for five Irrigation Projects. Subsequently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Luxembourg mandated Lux-Development in September 2004 to study the request and to formulate a Project taking into account the examination and feasibility of a number of parameters:
The specific objective is to finalise the implementation of an extensive study on the feasibility of the Nam Tuan gravity-fed surface irrigation scheme, to edit the Feasibility Study and the Detailed Design Drawings and Reports and to assist with the planning of the construction of the schemes.
Type of services provided
PROMAN provides the services of an agro-economic expert who also acts as team leader. This expert works in team withan Irrigation Infrastructure expert.
