Detailed description of project Back
In April 2020, the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) announced accelerated funding in response to the covid-19 health crisis to help developing countries mitigate the impact of the immediate and long-term disruptions caused by the covid-19 pandemic on education. This is the final evaluation of AFD and MEN partnership’s project to contribute to the implementation of the Covid-19 Crisis Response Education Sector Plan. In line with the main objectives set out by the GPE in its guidance note, the program thus aims, for this level of education, to (i) support mitigation efforts to promote the continuation of teaching and learning and protect the well-being of vulnerable students; (ii) promote early recovery after the crisis to facilitate the return to school; and (iii) promote the resilience of the education system in Senegal.
This general objective is divided into three specific objectives
The evaluation will provide a judgment of the OECD criteria: Relevance, Coherence, Effectiveness, Efficiency, Impact and Sustainability.
