Detailed description of project Back
The European Commission is considering the possibility to adopt a pro-active approach and to invest in the Government of Pakistan’s reform and transition process towards a sector approach in elementary education. The aim is to design an EC Support package that will work as a catalyst to assist the Department of Education and other donors to accelerate the transition to as SWAP friendly environment in the education sector in Sindh province of Pakistan.
To support the Government of Sindh, the EC has agreed to make available to the DoE a Technical Adviser for 12 person/months.
The overall objective of the assignment is to work in close collaboration with the Department of Education and other donors to enhance the feasibility of the Sindh Education Programme, both in terms of objectives and resources, particularly with regard to elementary education.
