Detailed description of project Back
The thematic strategy “Investing in People” and the component dedicated to children of its fourth theme “Other aspects of human and social development (social cohesion; employment and decent work; children and youth; culture”) is partly implemented through a call for proposals “Action for child protection-Violence against children”. This restricted call for proposals was published on 15 October 2012 and the submission deadline (i.e. date of sending) for concept notes is 4 December 2012. All concept notes sent by the application deadline will be evaluated by the EU Delegations in the countries concerned and by external experts. The best concept notes will be shortlisted and applicants will be invited to submit full applications that will be evaluated (also by concerned delegations and external experts) and ranked in order of merit. The evaluation result will serve as the basis for the recommended final selection which will be made by an Evaluation Committee constituted by European Commission (COM) officials.
In order to contribute to the quality of a fair and transparent selection process, the assistance of experts in the technical and financial evaluation process of both phases is required.
The objective of the recruitment of experts is to achieve a high-quality selection process of projects following the 2012 call for proposals EuropeAid/133527/C/ACT/Multi under the COM Budget line: BGUE-B2012-21.010401.11-C1-DEVCO.
Results of this project include Concept Note (CN) evaluation and Full Application (FA) form evaluations grids.
