The institutional capacities of labour market institutions and public employment services in BiH are weak and need to be strengthened, so as to enable the relevant institutions to effectively intervene between labour demands and labour supply and ensure efficient implementation of Active Labour Market Measures (ALMMs).

The optimal way in which this could be achieved would be to work simultaneously on strengthening Public Employment Services (PESs) institutional and human capacities.

To specific objective of the mission is to contribute to improvement of quality of services of labour market institutions in BiH through improving its capacities by a detailed analysis of existing infrastructure of PESs and IT requirements and other logistical aspects of labour market institutions.

Type of services provided

• Assessment phase: assess situation in BiH regarding requirements for efficient work of labour market institutions (LMI) in terms of available infrastructure and adequate IT equipment and other logistical aspects;
• Reporting phase: prepare the analysis and gap analysis report including recommendations.

The services are provided by a team of three experts:

• Team leader (70 w/d);
• Infrastructure expert (55 w/d);
• ICT expert (15 w/d).
