Technical Assistance for the development and implementation of the Pacific Youth Sounding Board Back

Global objectives:

The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is:

• To strengthen civil society, gender and youth organisations as independent actors of governance and development in their own right.

Specific objectives:

• Support the development of an inclusive and open dialogue with young people and youth organisations, while strengthening their capacities for civic engagement.

Qualifications and skills required:

• Higher education, at least a Master’s degree or equivalent in the field of communication/political science/ economics/ public administration/law;
• Excellent English is mandatory;
• One of the Pacific Island local language will be an asset.

General professional experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in networking and management;
• Experience with logistics support for the organization of missions, workshops and webinars;
• Good knowledge of communication tools and previous experience in the management of online working platforms(Teams, Sharepoint, Dropbox,
  etc.).

Specific professional experience:

• Previous experience working with Youth engagement;
• Previous experience working with Pacific Island countries is an asset.
