Detailed description of project Back

The Ianda Guiné! Program is aligned with the 2030 Agenda, supporting Guinea-Bissau’s national strategy to achieve its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Ianda Guiné! is an initiative of the European Union, comprising eight actions and ten contracts/projects implemented by various partners.

The program was designed to enhance the resilience and socio-economic opportunities of the population by driving change through the agricultural sector. Its interventions took place between 2019 and 2024.

This final evaluation aims to assess the outputs, quality, and overall results of the Ianda Guiné! Program. It will identify key lessons learned, draw evidence-based conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations to inform decision-makers on how to enhance the design and impact of both current and future initiatives.

The Program’s stakeholders include:

  • CSOs in their diversity
  • Rural households and local communities
  • The media
  • Local public authorities
  • National public authorities
  • The cooperation agencies of the EU member states
  • Multilateral organizations

The evaluation should analyze the intervention in detail using the following DAC criteria: efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability and early signs of impact. In addition to these, the evaluation will also look at the intervention using a specific EU evaluation criterion, EU added value.
