Detailed description of project Back
The support project to the NAO aims at improving the capacities for programming and management of EU aid to Chad. The function of NAO in Chad is entrusted to the Minister of Economy and Planning; the deputy NAOs are the Secretary General and the Deputy Secretary General of the MEPC.
The overall project objective is to improve the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability of EU aid to Chad.
The specific objective of the technical assistance contract is to ensure the proper functioning and greater efficiency of the NAO services by improving their management capacity and coordination of EU aid.
The expected results are the following:
The project aims to strengthen the capacities of the NAO in managing EU aid through the setting-up of a performing NAO Support Unit (with total staffing of 31 people) to allow the NAO to fully assume its responsibilities with respect to:

PROMAN as lead partner of the consortium ensures overall backstopping of the project: backstopping missions in the field, quality assurance, overall contract management.
