Following a request of the Ministry of Industry and Trade,the Policy Support and Institutional Strengthening Component (PSIS) of the Euro – Jordanian Action for the Development of the Enterprise (EJADA) Project has provided the blueprint for the establishing of the Jordan Upgrading and Modernisation Programme (JUMP) which will provide following services to the SMEs in Jordan:

  • Capability building services in the form of diagnostic studies, technical assistance and training;
  • Capacity building services involving the purchase of equipment, technology and other related activities.

JUMP is now well established and operational and Monitoring and Evaluation Unit has been created to follow up on the activities of the programme and its impact.The PSIS has now launched a request for assistance to develop a monitoring and evaluation system and the appropriate quantitative and qualitative indicators to measure the performance of JUMP and its impact on SMEs in Jordan and the Jordan economy.

Type of services provided

PROMAN is providing the services of a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert who will:

  • Develop a M&E System Manual including the system design, indicators, reporting and implementation steps;
  • Lead a Workshop for JUMP Management staff to discuss the manual and agree upon final version;
  • Train a group of relevant staff and provide all necessary tools and information to manage the system.
