The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is to increase employability and self-employment opportunities available to young TEVET graduates and entrepreneurs, with special attention to women’s needs.

The specific objective of this contract is as follows: to promote entrepreneurial culture, sustainable enterprise creation and decent, formal jobs.

The outcomes of this contract are as follows:

  • Outcome 1: Expanded knowledge on entrepreneur experiences;
  • Outcome 2: Increased opportunities for wider entrepreneur engagement, networking, and growth;
  • Outcome 3: Strengthened entrepreneur voices.

Qualifications

Qualifications and skills:

  • The expert should have as a minimum a Bachelor of Arts degree (visual arts, graphic design), or a relevant, directly related discipline. Or in the absence of the same, a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.

General professional experience:

  • The expert will have at least 6 years general experience relevant to the assignment and will have conducted at least two projects in the following fields: TV and/or radio series and/or print media.

Specific professional experience:

  • Demonstrate creative expertise in at least 1 TV or radio series/programme conducted in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals;
  • Demonstrate creative expertise in at least 1 print media campaign in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals;
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models in at least 3 projects;
  • Demonstrate in at least 3 projects how she/he addressed challenges for specific population segment or the general population, successfully branded and publicly promoted these issues;
  • Prior experience on entrepreneurship promotion projects is essential;
  • Prior experience in Sub-Saharan-African countries will be an advantage.
