The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is to enhance Namibia’s inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

The specific objective (Outcome) of this contract is: Enhanced competitiveness of value chains and their export potential

Qualifications

Qualifications and skills:

  • At least a Master’s Degree academic level, preferably in the field of business or economic development. In its absence: an additional 5 years of experience in the field of economic or business development in addition to the 6 years of general professional experience;
  • Written and oral communication skills in English of at least C2 level.

General professional experience:

  • At least 6 years’ experience in trade policy or economic development or business development support;
  • Project management experience will be an asset.

Specific professional experience:

  • At least of 3 years’ experience in value chain support;
  • At least 3 years of experience in capacity building or training;
  • Experience with Southern Africa economies, and especially of the Namibian one will be an asset.
